Applies to All Students in: Preschool, Recreational, Cheer Tumbling, High School, Motion Evolution, or Homeschool Tumble Motion. (This DOES NOT apply to team students)

Fall Classes Begin Monday, Aug. 29th, 2011

*Facility Closings:

A reminder that we are CLOSED for all classes from Sat. 9/3- Mon. 9/5 for the Labor Day Holiday.  

No Preschool Open Gym on Friday Sept 16th - attend the open house instead (see below)

No Preschool Open gym on Friday Oct. 21st

No Youth Open gym on Saturday Oct. 22nd

We are OPEN on Halloween, encourage your kids to wear a dress up costume!  (please make sure their costumes will NOT interfere with gymnastics participation or pose any safety concerns such as visibility, slippery hands, slippery feet, etc).

Classes will resume for Winter 2012 on Monday January 2nd!  Happy New Year!

*Services & Announcements:

*We do Birthday Parties on Saturday & Sunday, you can reserve your date with a $50 deposit.

*We have introduced a NEW class to the Girls Recreational Program.  Beginner 2 is for girls 10-18 years on Tuesday's from 4:30-6pm.  The curriculum is not different than Beginner 1, but the age of students in the class is more mature.  Girls that are 10+ are welcome to join any of the regularly scheduled Beginner 1 classes; However, girls under the age of 10 are not permitted to join the Beginner 2 class.

*For the convenience of our working parents, we are now offering more evening Preschool Classes!  Go to the 2011-2012 School Year Schedule on the Home Page for a complete listing of classes.  

*Motion Evolution is NOW offered at First Flips Gymnastics and in the surrounding Eastern Cleveland Communities.  This is a class that focuses on the "Fitness and Health" side of your child's development.  While our on-site classes are held at the gymnastics club, our off-site classes can be held anywhere!  For example in a fitness center, school gym, preschool, daycare, or even a church rec room.  Please let us know if you are interested in joining a motion evolution class.  "Children are meant to move and the earlier we teach them to enjoy exercise, the easier it will be for them to maintain a healthy lifestyle into adulthood!"  ~ Jennifer Schlipp, Motion Evolution Manager & Personal Trainer.

*  Open Gyms:  $5/ member  & $10/ non-member.  These services are open to the general public and can be used on a day-to-day basis.  It's easy to become a member: either enroll your children into ongoing classes OR pay the Annual Family Registration Fee of $40 to the Front Desk. 

Preschool Open Gym offered on Friday's from 12:30-1:30pm / Ages 18months - 5 years.  A parent must supervise child's play.

Youth Open Gym offered on Saturdays from 3-4:30pm / Ages 6-18 years.  A parent must drop off and pick up (waiver for every child MUST be on file), but parents can leave during participation.

*Upcoming Special Events:

SEPTA Preschool Field Trip: Friday Sept. 9th 12:30-1:30pm Preschool Open Gym Field Trip: for all SEPTA parents and children 18 months - 5 year.  $5/child (regardless of membership).  We will also be handing out an incentive discount to try out ongoing gymnastics classes to all who participate in this event. 

FREE Parents Wellness Lecture: Wednesday, Sept. 14th 5-5:45pm in the Lobby.  Members and non-members are welcome to participate.  We will be discussing suggestions to incorporate healthy foods into kid's lunches and snacks.  Presented by the Motion Evolution staff of Personal Trainers and Fitness Professionals. 

FREE Community Preschool Open House: Friday Sept. 16th 1-2:30pm: for all children 18 months - 5 year.  We will also be handing out an incentive discount to try out ongoing gymnastics classes to all who participate in this event. 

 Oct. 22-23rd: The Annual Elite Allstar Classic Meet.  Highlighting our younger competitive teams as well as many of the competitive teams through the state and region.  The Elite Allstar Classic is hosted at Lost Nations in Willoughby!
